The Year Three students have sure had an action-packed term!
We enjoyed a visit from the RAC where we learned all about road safety and when riding our bike, what impact a crash can have on our brain and body if we aren’t using the correct safety attire.
We also went on an excursion to the Boola Bardip Museum which was packed with fun activities for us to participate in. It lined up well with our writing unit where we were learning how to write an information text. We also participated in a classification workshop where we learned how to separate what is important information and supporting information when learning about living things.
We have become excellent problem solvers in Mathematics, working in groups each day to determine what strategies we are using to solve our problem.
I liked when we did the RAC Incursion and learned about bike safety ~ Alexander
I really liked our Science incursion to the museum and the workshop we had to sort living and non-living things ~ Fred
I really love our problem-solving at the beginning of each Maths lesson. It was tricky and I loved that ~ Ezra
I love it when Keiyon came to our class and taught us about Aboriginal history and Torres Strait Islander people ~ Oscar
