The year 3-6 students participated in the faction cross country carnival at Hamer Park this week. The students were given the chance to compete in either the long or the short course. It was great to see many students pushing themselves to achieve their very best. Along with some impressive sprint finishes and looks of accomplishment as they crossed the finish line, I was most impressed to see many instances of the runners encouraging and supporting each other along the course. Well done runners! Congratulations also goes to the students who placed 1st – 5th in the long course races who will be competing in the interschool cross country.
Thank you so much to the spectators who came along. It was great to have you cheer on the students and a huge thanks for your speedy pack up of the course – Much appreciated!
