Interschool Swimming Carnival

The postponed interschool swimming carnival was a terrific opportunity for selected students from Years Three to Six to take part following their efforts in Term One. The boys and girls came up against some tough competition from the other schools but many of our swimmers enjoyed individual success receiving a ribbon for a top 4 finish. The team finished 4th in the girl’s competition and 7th in the boy’s, resulting in a position of 7th overall. The most pleasing aspect, however, was the progress shown by so many of the swimmers resulting in St Paul’s narrowly missing out on the Most Improved Shield. An excellent achievement and one all the participants can be very proud of!

Congratulations to all the swimmers for their efforts during the event. A big thank you to the wonderful parents who came along to help cheer loudly from the stands and a special thanks to Jeszell, Daniel and our Year 6’s for helping present the ribbons.
