Monday, 21 March is Harmony Day. We invite all children to come to school wearing either national or cultural dress of their family, any clothing in orange or their sports uniform (not House shirt). Classes will be highlighting Harmony Day in their classroom and just for fun, we hope to hold a child-appropriate dance-off for each year level during the week. Your family might like to take part and video yourselves too – we’d love to share some of your family dances with all the children. The song is Iko Iko by Justin Wellington and there are lots of family-friendly versions on YouTube. Be brave! Our class dances will probably be held over two days – Wednesday and Thursday. No dressing up needed!
