Congratulations to Mia D who received a Fred Hollows Humanity Award last Friday. This award recognises Year 6 students who follow in Fred’s footsteps by making a positive difference in their community. It celebrates students who show compassion, integrity and kindness in their everyday lives, just as Fred did.
Mia displays a great interest in school life and her passion for learning is evident in all she undertakes. She is a capable and mature young lady who is both caring and respectful. She has a strong desire to lead and serve others. Her generous nature and sense of justice make her a valued member of our school community. Mia is fully committed to her leadership and ministry roles and is a role model to many.
