It is Education Department as well as CEWA policy that dogs are not allowed onto school grounds unless part of a school organised event or program. Potentially any dog can be a risk to children and some children experience fear and anxiety around dogs. Family pets account for 40% of dog attacks and children under 12 are most at risk. Most serious attacks on children involve head and facial injuries.
We request that parents please do not bring their dogs onto the school property. Thank you for your understanding and care for all our children.
