Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As advised earlier this week, new protocols for schools came into effect on Tuesday, 8 February 2022. These additional measures have been implemented with a view to keeping our doors open and continuing face-to-face learning for our students, where possible.
As per the restrictions issued to schools, parents and caregivers may no longer enter classrooms, including volunteering. You are allowed onto the school grounds to drop-off and pick-up students in outdoor locations only, and are asked to physically distance and avoid gathering with others on school grounds or in the drive thru area. Mask wearing for parents is expanded to outdoor areas of the school where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
We are currently planning and implementing additional ways to minimise the risk of COVID-19 entering or being transmitted at our school including:
- Moving parent-teacher interviews and meetings to online or over the phone;
- Changing indoor face-to-face school events;
- Postponing our school camp;
- Limiting the mingling of groups of students;
- Modifying timetables, school activities and pick-up/drop-off procedures, where practical.
As a Catholic school our priority is for the health, safety and wellbeing of our students and all members of our broader community. We are working through these changes and you will receive further communications as the details are confirmed. We will also post any updates on our school website so please check regularly.

We appreciate your understanding as we take the necessary steps to keep our school community safe. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
